![]() | Ukraine: Bakhmut (Artemovsk): The Wagner Group is crying that Moscow is betraying the group by not providing ammunition and personnel. Stating that his group is fighting the whole Ukraine army, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner Group, continued to poke the rivalry between his group and the regular Russian Army. As street-to-street fighting continues, most strategists expect Ukraine to pull out completely or stage a limited fighting withdrawal. Ukraine President Zelenskyy has said his military commanders support continuing operations to defend and strengthen positions in Bakhmut (Artemovsk). Currently, the city is surrounded on three sides and in danger of being completely encircled. The fight for the city has gone on for months. |

Thoughts for the day |
“The constitutional right to bear arms in public for self-defense is not a second-class right, subject to an entirely different body of rules than the other Bill of Rights guarantees. We know of no other constitutional right that an individual may exercise only after demonstrating to government officers some special need.” – Justice Clarence Thomas, Bruen Majority Opinion |

– Fire Watch * https://www.fire.ca.gov/incidents/ – Warnings/ Advisories (NOAA) Warning – A warning is issued when a hazardous weather or hydrologic event is occurring, imminent or likely. A warning means weather conditions pose a threat to life or property. People in the path of the storm need to take protective action. Advisory: An advisory is issued when a hazardous weather or hydrologic event is occurring, imminent or likely. Advisories are for less serious conditions than warnings, that cause significant inconvenience and if caution is not exercised, could lead to situations that may threaten life or property. Watch: A watch is used when the risk of a hazardous weather or hydrologic event has increased significantly, but its occurrence, location or timing is still uncertain. It is intended to provide enough lead time so those who need to set their plans in motion can do so. A watch means that hazardous weather is possible. People should have a plan of action in case a storm threatens and they should listen for later information and possible warnings especially when planning travel or outdoor activities. * Winter Storm Warning: Yosemite NP outside of the valley, Western Siskiyou County, North Central and Southeast Siskiyou County; South Central Siskiyou County, Motherlode; Northeast Foothills, Sacramento Valley; West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada; Western Plumas County, Lassen Park, Del Norte Interior, Northern Humboldt Interior, Northern Trinity, Southern Humboldt Interior, Southern Trinity, Southwestern Humboldt. * Winter Weather Advisory: North Bay Interior Mountains; Sonoma Coastal Range, Western Siskiyou County, Modoc County, Shasta Lake Area, Northern Shasta County, Burney Basin, Eastern Shasta County, Mountains Southwestern Shasta County to Western Colusa County, Northeastern Mendocino Interior; Northwestern Mendocino Interior, Northern Lake County. * Special Weather Statement: ADDITIONAL WINTER WEATHER AND TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES THIS WEEK – Greater Lake Tahoe Area; Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties; Mono; Surprise Valley California. * Hydrologic Outlook: Fresno, Kern, Madera, Mariposa, Tulare, Tuolumne. – Weather (South Bay/ San Jose) * Air Quality in the south Bay Area is Good. * Sunrise – 0633 hrs.
