| * Ukraine: Russia and Ukraine exchange drone attacks on civilian targets, expanding the conflict. Ukraine attacked office buildings in Moscow for a second time as well as other buildings. Most of the drones were shot down by anti-aircraft batteries. Russia also accused Ukraine of attempting more attacks on Russian combat ships in the black sea with unmanned boats. Russian drones hit a college dormitory in Kharkiv (no deaths) and launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih that killed 6 including a 10-year-old girl and injured 75. The Ukraine offensive is only making very small gains currently and much of those gains are then lost by Russian counter-offensives. It is also being reported that Ukraine is running low on military-aged males and will have a hard time rebuilding units it is throwing into the offensive. Russia on the other hand is currently looking at calling up an additional 100,000 troops. |  |
