  | * Ukraine: Ukrainian President Zelensky and Chinese President Xi had a long call mostly about the war in Ukraine. Ukraine will be appointing an ambassador to China. China attempted to play the part of a neutral superpower stating “it always stood on the side of peace.” Zelenksy approved a special Chinese representative to start talks between the Ukrainians and the Russians. * Sudan: A bio lab has been seized by armed forces, it is not clear if these were government forces or the Rapid Support Force (the two sides that are battling now). It is believed that the lab was funded by many outside governments for programs and testing. The WHO is warning that there is a “huge biological risk” since the fighters kicked out the lab technicians and the facility is known to house infectious diseases. |
