  | * Russia: Russia’s internal security service, FSB, arrested Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich on spying charges. Gershkovich is an American citizen. * North Korea & Russia: According to White House spokesperson John Kirby, Russia is seeking additional weapons and munitions from North Korea in direct violation of U.N. Security Council resolutions. The deal is expected to be a “weapons-for-food” exchange and could tip the “resource-intensive” conflict in the favor of Russia. * China: Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that China is firmly against Taiwan President Tsai visit to the United States as well as her holding any public appearances or speaking with any U.S. Representatives. She is expected to meet with U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy during her visit next week. Chinese representatives have said this meeting will have severe consequences on US/ Chinese relations. |

| * Manhattan, NY: Manhattan grand jury voted to indict former President Donald Trump yesterday. The indictment is currently sealed. Trump is the first American President indicted on criminal charges. Trump is expected to be arraigned next Tuesday. Federal GOP members are pushing the Manhattan DA for documents and testimony about the case which has many interesting firsts. The DA’s general counsel is accusing the GOP of interference in state criminal investigations. |  |
