* Reparations: Economists told a state panel that if the current suggestion for reparations moves forward, California would pay out over $800 billion to Black residents. California’s annual budget for everything is only $300 billion. There was no math provided for how the number was reached but this sum was to address “generations of over-policing, disproportionate incarceration and housing discrimination.” There was also not a good explanation given as to why current taxpayers, many of them immigrants, previously residents of other states ect, would be held accountable for events that are rooted hundreds of years earlier. | ![]() |

China also continues its plans to triple its nuclear warhead stockpile by 2035. It is believed that China has already surpassed 400 warheads and is on track to field as many as 1,500 warheads by 2035. |

Thoughts for the day |
“The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission.” – John F. Kennedy |
Advisory |
– Fire Watch * https://www.fire.ca.gov/incidents/ -Warnings/ Advisories (NOAA) Warning: A warning is issued when a hazardous weather or hydrologic event is occurring, imminent or likely. A warning means weather conditions pose a threat to life or property. People in the path of the storm need to take protective action. Advisory: An advisory is issued when a hazardous weather or hydrologic event is occurring, imminent or likely. Advisories are for less serious conditions than warnings, that cause significant inconvenience and if caution is not exercised, could lead to situations that may threaten life or property. Watch: A watch is used when the risk of a hazardous weather or hydrologic event has increased significantly, but its occurrence, location or timing is still uncertain. It is intended to provide enough lead time so those who need to set their plans in motion can do so. A watch means that hazardous weather is possible. People should have a plan of action in case a storm threatens and they should listen for later information and possible warnings, especially when planning travel or outdoor activities. * Special Weather Statement: SNOW AND PELLET SHOWERS RETURN THIS AFTERNOON WITH BANDS OF SNOW POSSIBLE IN WESTERN NEVADA TONIGHT- Greater Lake Tahoe Area; Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties; Mono; Surprise Valley California. * Flood Advisory: Sonoma, Tulare, Fresno; Kings, Fresno; Madera. * Flood Watch: Mariposa Madera Foothills; Mariposa-Madera Lower Sierra, Fresno-Tulare Foothills; Fresno-Tulare Lower Sierra; South End Sierra Foothills; South End of the Lower Sierra. * Flood Warning: Merced, San Joaquin. * Winter Storm Warning: Eastern Sierra Slopes of Inyo County, Mountains Southwestern Shasta County to Western Colusa County; Shasta Lake Area, Northern Shasta County, Burney Basin, Eastern Shasta County; West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada; Western Plumas County, Lassen Park, Eastern San Gabriel Mountains, Fresno-Tulare Lower Sierra; Grant Grove Area; Kaiser to Rodgers Ridge; Kings Canyon NP; Mariposa-Madera Lower Sierra; San Joaquin River Canyon; Sequoia NP; South End of the Lower Sierra; South End of the Upper Sierra; Upper San Joaquin River; Yosemite NP outside of the valley; Yosemite Valley, San Bernardino County Mountains, Riverside County Mountains, Central Siskiyou County; North Central and Southeast Siskiyou County; South Central Siskiyou County. * Winter Weather Advisory: Northern Ventura County Mountains; Santa Barbara County Interior Mountains; Southern Ventura County Mountains, Western San Gabriel Mountains and Highway 14 Corridor, Interstate 5 Corridor, Frazier Mountain Communities; Grapevine; Piute Walker Basin; Tehachapi, San Diego County Mountains. * Wind Advisory: Indian Wells Valley; Mojave Desert, Antelope Valley; Eastern Antelope Valley Foothills; Western Antelope Valley Foothills, Apple and Lucerne Valleys, San Diego County Mountains, Coachella Valley; San Diego County Deserts; San Gorgonio Pass Near Banning, Death Valley National Park; Eastern Mojave Desert, Including the Mojave National Preserve; Western Mojave Desert, Chuckwalla Valley; Joshua Tree NP East, Chiriaco Summit; Chuckwalla Mountains; Imperial County Southeast; Imperial County West; Imperial Valley; Joshua Tree NP West; Salton Sea, Imperial County Southwest. * High Surf Advisory: San Luis Obispo County Beaches; Santa Barbara County Central Coast Beaches, Ventura County Beaches. * Air Quality Alert: Imperial County Southwest; Imperial County West; Imperial Valley, – Weather (South Bay/ San Jose) * Air Quality in the south Bay Area is Good. * Sunrise – 0658 hrs.
