Ukrainian officials disagreed and said that Ukraine forces were still fighting for the city and control was still undecided. Additional intelligence shows that most Ukrainian forces are on the western edge of the city, fighting for the last road out of Bekhmut. It is likely that pockets of Ukrainian opposition exist in the city limits as well. * China: In response to Taiwan President Tsai’s presence and planned meeting with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy in the United States, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) sent three warships into the East China Sea for a series of live-fire drills. |
